Tregarton Park is close to St Austell, a charming town which is close to many of Cornwall’s most renowned attractions. Nearby is Charlestown Harbour, a picturesque village with an unspoiled Georgian port. It has often been used as a filming location, including for the series Poldark.
Also close to St Austell is Pentewan Beach, which is ideal for families. This golden stretch of beach is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding or simply relaxing.
A short drive from our campsite is the Eden Project.
Famous for its distinctive biomes, it enables you to explore a variety of world ecosystems. Here you’ll find tropical and Mediterranean environments showcased in massive greenhouses. The Eden Project is not only an educational experience but also a stunning spectacle.
St Austell is also near The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
One of the most popular botanical gardens in the UK, the Lost Gardens of Heligan is a truly magical place. The gardens were rediscovered and restored in the 1990s after being neglected during World War I.
