If you’re planning a dog-friendly holiday in Cornwall, location is everything. Four-legged guests need plenty of space to unwind, with an area that’s in easy reach of both the coast and the countryside.
That’s exactly what you’ll find at Tregarton Park, a pet-friendly campsite near Mevagissey in South Cornwall.
Spacious, Relaxed and Pet-Friendly
At Tregarton Park, dogs aren’t an afterthought: they’re considered in the design of our campsite.
For instance, our heated swimming pool has a specially built dog patio nearby. This means you can enjoy the swimming pool complex with your dog close by. We have installed a large parasol to offer shade for dogs on hot days in Cornwall.
Cornwall is famous for its beaches, and many welcome dogs all-year-round. From Tregarton Park, you can reach a variety of dog-friendly beaches within minutes. For instance, Porthluney Cove (1.7 miles) is a beautiful sandy beach which allows dogs 12 months of the year.
Vault Beach offers a scenic, peaceful stretch perfect for a stroll, while Gorran Haven is a charming fishing village beach with coastal paths to explore.
Scenic Walks from Coast to Countryside
One of the biggest perks of staying at Tregarton Park is the choice of walks. You can head out on the South West Coast Path for dramatic clifftop views, or take a gentler ramble through the countryside.
Many routes start just a short drive from the park, so you can mix up your walks and keep both you and your dog entertained.
Dog-Friendly Attractions Nearby
Want to combine sightseeing with dog-friendly fun? There’s no shortage of options. The Lost Gardens of Heligan welcome dogs on leads, making it easy to enjoy their beautiful grounds together.
Meanwhile, Charlestown, with its historic harbour and tall ships, is another great place for walking your dog. You might want to finish with a coffee at a pet-friendly café.
A Peaceful Base for Your Holiday
