Since it enjoys a sunnier climate than the other parts of Britain, Cornwall is one of the best places in the UK to go camping. It’s also one of the most beautiful places in the country, along with it being more accessible than ever before.
Spring is one the greatest times to go camping if you love gardens. Places like the Lost Gardens of Heligan look simply exquisite at this time of year.
Did you know, a new £250 million ‘super road’ has been built to Cornwall?
This will make it much quicker to travel to this part of Britain, so there’s even more of an excuse to go camping in the south west in 2025! The work began in 2021 and will mean there’s much less congestion on the road to Devon or Cornwall. The road officially opened this November so will be ready by spring and sumner.
Book Ahead at our Campsite for Easter
Spring in Cornwall is particularly charming, and it benefits from being much less busy. Tregarton Park loves welcoming campers from all over the UK and beyond when we reopen for the season in May.
You can check out our key dates to see when our facilities open in 2025. Whether you want to go camping in spring or August, now is a great time to book.
Since our campsite is pet-friendly, you’re welcome to bring your dog along. There are plenty of great places to walk your pooch in the local area. However, it’s important to check before heading to one of the local beaches or gardens. We also have parts of our campsite where dogs aren’t allowed, and rules to ensure campers aren’t disturbed.
